Tangerine Dream - The Lost Brook Tape Series - Volume 100 I never expected to see Tangerine Dream in concert and only occasionally heard their music on the radio (thanks to Alison Steele at WNEW and Major Tom at WRNW.) A more frequent scenario was a late night gathering at a friend's apartment, listening to Tangerine Dream albums while semi-conscious on the couch. Yet here we were at Lincoln Center, in the 31st row at Avery Fisher Hall, about to experience Tangerine Dream accompanied by a Laserium light show! For $5.50, this may have been the ultimate space cadet experience. Happy Volume 100! Contrast Clause also known as Tangerine Leaves 55 My tape is a different capture to the above torrent, except as noted below: In October 2011, I listened to sound sample #5 in the above torrent posted by tadreamer62 and clearly heard my friend Paul's voice. This led me to believe that my tape could be the source for Tangerine Leaves 55. I already knew that my tape might have circulated. In the mid 1990's, my brother asked for a copy of the tape with the intention of trading it. I wasn't planning a future tape series, so I made him a high speed, first generation copy. He in turn made a second generation copy and traded it. (We only found out recently that I didn't give him the entire concert. For years I thought the show was contained on one cassette and just recently discovered an unlabeled second tape!) I downloaded Tangerine Leaves 55 and did a careful comparison of my "Track 06 (12:21)" and TL 55's "Track 06 Part 5 (10:42). " That particular track is, without any doubt, from my source and would be from the second generation copy at best. The other tracks on TL 55 are from a different source, and are NOT from my tape. Furthermore, TL 55 is not the complete concert. My "Track 05 (9:07)" is missing from TL55 (though it was included in my brother's copy.) My "Track 07 (14:19)" from my second cassette is also missing from TL 55 and this master source has never circulated until today. Unfortunately, during my research, I also discovered that I missed a tape flip at the end of Track 03 and lost approximately five minutes of music. The TL55 source captures that entire song.
